|
|
I would like to have both the Spelling & Grammar and the Auto-Spell Dheck buttons visible, but while the Spelling & Grammer button remains visible, nothing I can do (Visible Buttons menu, Customize Toolbar menu) will keep the Auto-Spell Check button visible for more than a few moments.
The same thing is true for the Increase Indent button. The Decrease Indent button is constantly visible, but I cannot make the Increase Indent button stay visible for more than a moment or two.
This was never a problem before Writer 3.5. What's going on?
Thanks,
JAS |

That's LO - 3.5 came out 2/14.
I can't reproduce those problems. What OS? You may have to do a repair install if this continues. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista

A little more info: the problem appears to be some sort of weird interaction between the Formatting toolbar and the Standard toolbar. That is, if I get both the Spelling & Grammar and the Auto-Spellcheck buttons showing on the Standard toolbar and then click on the formatting toolbar to try to get both the Increase and Decrease indent buttons showing, this causes the Auto-Spellcheck button to disappear (and sometimes the Spelling & Grammar button as well).
And the same thing happens the other way around: if I can get both the Increase and Decrease indent buttons showing on the Formatting toolbar, when I go to the Standard toolbar to change the buttons displayed there, the Increase indent button disappears. |

You can report it at the bug tracker of LO. This is just a user to user forum. But it's probably a conflict with something in Win 7, most likely an incompatibility between the Auto update function of LO (turn it of in Tools - Options - Auto update) and IE 9 on Win 7 that seems to cause a lot of problems. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista
