How to I change a double spaced document into single spaced

I made up my document double spaced easy enough but cant find a way to change my document to single spaced..... even if I "select all", go to Format/paragraph/indents and spacing and set to ""Single" and "apply/OK nothing happens !!!!!!

HELP

its 100 pages Smile

Select Clear formatting from the styles list in the toolbar.

Look at your Formatting Toolbar. Select the first left dropdown list, select Clear Formatting.

Usually, Formatting Toolbar is located below Standard Toolbar. (the one with new, open, and save button)

the styles and for4matting button is below the "new" button,, and you have no selection to "clear format" on the dropdown menu
