|
|
Greetings,
I was wondering about the possibility of extracting a text field from a Base table and using some kind of function, possibly a custom function/macro if necessary, to "rewrite" or restate the text in a new column (probably in a query, I'm guessing). Basically, this is for software derived requirements; the source column would say something like, "When the user presses this button, the following shall happen." whereas the subsequent "test statement" corresponding to the "shall statement" would read, "When the user presses this button, the following will happen." Is this possible to do and if so, where do I find information on text manipulation functions in queries (since it sounds like you can't do it in tables)?
Thanks,
Mike |

Sorry, but state that for an Update you need to use the SQL entry from the Tools menu.
This has also be answered in other questions you have raised.
If you don't want to spent time to learn there's not much we can do. _________________ If your problem has been solved please add "[Solved]" to the beginning of your first post title (edit button). |
