I'm trying to set up some simple key sequence bindings/macros for inserting special characters. In the tools-config-keyboard as well as in the macro assignment section, there are only specific sequences/combinations listed that you can bind to, and I'd like to create my own like I can in Word. Is there a way to do this?
For example, I'd like ctrl-'-e to insert an e with an accent over it. Additionnally, I'd like it to insert in the font that I'm CURRENTLY using, rather than the font that I happen to be using when I set up the macro.
Can anyone help me with this? I'm perfectly willing to code my own macros for this, if someone could provide an example with instructions on how to accomplish what I'm trying to do.
Thanks,
