I am a Belgian (the northern part of it) user of OOo and most PCs sold here are equipped with the "Azerty" type of keyboard. Once you learn to work with it, it is as good as any keyboard, however, when using Math, I run into an annoying problem.
Whenever I want to use " curly brackets" in a formula (to group variables and values, but so that the brackets are not visible in the final formula), I need to right-click, go to "Brackets" and then select the top option for the brackets I need. This is because these brackets are not present on an "Azerty" keyboard.
So, I am wondering whether there is some sort of shortcut through the keyboard that would make it possible to get the "curlly brackets" when I want them, but without the use of the mouse, for that seriously slows down my formula entering (which is evidently best done by only using the keyboard when one finds out the needed commands to get to the desired formula). |
