Hi,
I'm trying to make a banner using Openoffice.org writer. I want to change the font color. I found the font color button on the formatting toolbar & changed it to my desired color. The colored strip under the A reflected the change, but when I click back inside the document & start typing the font is still black. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hi,
Changing the font color from the toolbar requires that you select text before you hit that button. It changes only the selected text.
If you want to change the color for the whole paragraph select Format Paragraph or better change it in Paragraph Styles.
