A government form in Doc format has a tick box into which I am to place a cross. Does anyone know how to put the cross in it?
The properties of the check box are:
Enable yes
Print yes

If this is a Word form (you refer to it as a .doc), try tabbing to the checkbox and then pressing the space-bar.

Turn Off the Design Mode (The Icon for this looks like a finger pressing a button)...
Note:
If design mode is ON and you click on a check-box, the text-box will be selected (it would have green markers and you can edit its properties).
If design mode is OFF, when you click on check-box, the checkbox marker will toggle _________________ # : - ) |
