| I have an IF statement that calculates currency values. But if the result is negative, the cell displays as a Percentage, even though the formatting of the cell is Currency and all calcualted values are currency. Anyone else run into this problem? |

| I apologize. I should have asked, "Can anyone offer a solution to this issue?" Your reply is a little sad, really. But I like the Germans. Everytime I have been there, they have been especially nice and gracious. |

In this case the only possible answer beyond wild guessing would have been: "Nobody can offer a solution without knowing a single technical detail".
Which office version? I don't dare asking for the operating system.
Which format code in which number format locale context?
Which formula? _________________ Rest in peace, oooforum.org
