Just new to OpenOffice. When I type a document and want to send a copy via email, it comes up with error message as follows:
OpenOffice.org was unable to find a working email configuration. Please save this document locally instead and attach it from within your email client.
How do I rectify this? |

Hi,
Start with telling us what OS, which OpenOffice version and which email program you have installed.

Hi Martin
I am using Windows 7. I have downloaded OpenOffice.org 3. The email program I wish to use is through Windows Live. It opens windows live, but then comes up with the error.
thanks

Hi,
Check that Windows Live is set to your default mail tool in your Control Panel.

Hi Martin
I have tried doing this, but haven't been successful. I am about to give up and just install Microsoft outlook, as I know it picks outlook up with no problem. When i go into control panel to change the default, it doesn't give me Windows Live as an option.
Regards

Thats a shame, because Windows Live Mail is what a major internet service provider is using for client emails accounts in Australia. I guess I will have to use Outlook and configure it to receive the emails. I was hoping not to have to use outlook, but obviously unavoidable at this point in time.
Is OOo compatible with Incredimail? |
