|
|
I have pasted data in a LibreCalc spreadsheet. I removed commas by using find and replace function (Ctrl+Alt+F). Very easy. But many of the cells still have spaces in them, causing LibreCalc to interpret these cells as text rather than a numbers. So a formula that depends on these cells return #VALUE!
I tried replacing only a space ( ), a space in the littles thingys (" "). I also tried copying the space from a trouble cell. And I tried replacing [:space:] and :space: as suggested here:
http://help.libreoffice.org/Common/List_of_Regular_Expressions
Whatever I do LibreCalc returns "Search key not found".
So my question is, how do I remove spaces or reformat text to numbers |

With LibO3.4.4 I have no problem with simply tapping the spacebar once in the Search box.
[:space:] with Regular Expressions checked does not work. |

| That's strange indeed. It appears I also have version 3.4.4. I'll try rebooting my computer. |
