Anti-aliasing inside a document - OOo-1.1.3 - Linux

I use Ooo 1.1.3 for linux, swedish version.
I see in the "tools->options..." dialogue that one can enable font anti-aliasing for font sizes from a selected size.

However, the only font-aliasing I see is in the user interface. Inside my writer document, the fonts are as ugly as imaginable. Isn't there a possibility to turn on anti-aliasing for fonts inside a document, on screen?
