I was learning Sql using Openoffice.org Base but while writing queries if I was not using exact cases in a table name or column name, then it was showing errors. While my teacher said Sql is not case sensitive, and he also showed it Oracle and Ms-Access. So what is wrong with Openoffice.org Base?

Hello

Your teacher has right.

When your table names are surround by double quotes they are case sensitive. When they are not surround by double quotes they not case sensitive.

When the query is generated by OOo then most of the time table names are surround by double quotes and thus case sensitive.
