|
|
We are using 'Writer' in OpenOffice 1.1.0.
How can we turn off ALL of the auto formating. It is driving us crazy.
It is indenting on its own and we can't make it stop or undo it.
It is changing certain character sequencers into symbols.. (c) turns into a copyright symbol, for instance.
How can we set this darn thing up to just type what we type. We have been poking around in help and settings for hours and hours and are about to go buy a typewriter... or worse.
Thanks for any help on this.
PS - Please don't suggest updating the software right now. If we don't get this project finished it won't matter. |

Uncheck everything you see in Tools -> AutoCorrect/AutoFormat
(everything in the tab options) _________________ www.kaaredyret.dk - OpenOffice resources (templates, extensions, tutorials and more) !

| Go to Tools > AutoCorrect/AutoFormat. On the Options, Custom Quotes and Word Completion tabs you can turn various things off. |
