Open Office's Writer seems to only let me use pre-defined colours, including a range of shades of grey from 10% grey to 80% grey with 10% intervals, presented on the Table Format/Background dialog box.
But I want to utilize a 5% grey. How can I get that?

| I think you have 2 choices. You could change the colors presented in OO at Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org > Colors. You could create a graphic in Draw where to colors can be modified and use this as a background. |

Thanks, JohnV, I've created a new R242/G242/B242 colour and labeled it "5% grey", and it works fine.
