viewing and window size adjustment

hi all,

i use writer in print layout mode and often like to run multiple slimmed windows at once.
but when i adjust a writer window to make it slimmer, it automatically shifts the displayed page to the right, leaving a grey gap to the left of the page, and then the margin on the page between the text and the edge of the window, before the text starts.

i was wondering if it is possible to set this up so that it automatically adjusts to the text edge, with a little padding, e.g. near the grey 'text boundary', or even to the page edge, rather than leaving a big grey gap.
