Different headers on different pages

Hi,

I am using a template provided by a publishing company to create a book.

I want to have different headers on different pages. I want the first few pages to be without headers. I then want alternate pages to have the book title. Between these pages I want the chapter headings as headers. There will also be a section for photos for which I do not want page number (and to be disregarded in the page numbering) or headers.

As I am not proficient in using OO, I am looking for a step by step guide.

Any ideas?

I have asked for help on this subject before and thought I had cracked it, but after returning to it, I have found I am still struggling.
