When I try to move one of my many pictures in my document, all of the picture come with me, or move to a totally different place, or just don't move. This is quite annoying, but my main question is how do you do the equivalent of this in word;
-text wrapping > tight ?
I use open office way more than word, but still haven't worked it out!
Would really appreciate if help could be given!
Many thanks. |

To move a SINGLE picture, just click once on it with the left mouse button. The picture will get a "frame" that indicates it is selected. To move it, move the mouse OFF the selected picture, then move it to the inner edge of the picture. The cursor should change to a "cross" shape. When it becomes that shape, click and hold the left mouse button and drag the picture to the desired location. Then release the mouse button, move the cursor to another part of the document AWAY FROM THE PICTURE and click the left mouse button. The moved picture will then "lock" itself to the document.
For your second question, it's probably Format, Wrap (same as in OpenOffice) from the Menu Bar. If in doubt, select Help on the Menu bar and search for "text wrapping".
I hope this is helpful. _________________ I'm making perfect sense - you're just not keeping up! |
