Hi there,
I've searched OO 3's help file but could not find an answer to these 3 questions so I appreciate your help.
1. How do I set Top/Bottom Margins? Left and Right as well? Unlike Word, there doesn't not seem to be a Page :Layout for them
2. How do I swtch between documents in OO?
In Word you hit Shift/F6.
3. Is there a way to set the pasted text to a chosen font/size?
So, when I paste content from a listserve or Web site it pastes in to a desired default font/size.
Thanks so much. |

Hi,
1. Format --> Page opens a window where you can set your preferences.
2. No idea
3. No

Hi Martin,
Thank you for sharing the margins adjustment.
Would you happen to know how to turn F8 (text highlighting) off in OO?
Ex. Word - when you want to highlight text you hit the F8 key on then scroll down and ti keeps highlight text you may wish to copy or delete or bold, etc. Once you've accomplished that then you hit F8 and it turns the highlighting off.
That doesn't seem to work in OO, The F8 highlights text but when I hit F8 again it doesn't turn the highlight off.
In fact I could find anything which tuned the highlighting off.
Any insight about that one?
Thanks so much. |

Hi,
As I don't use MS Word I can't compare, but you could search F8 in the help file and find a topic Selection Mode.
