I was wondering if anyone knew of a free Speech to text software that is compatible with OOo and Mac
If no free ones are available then ones with a free trial

According to their site, you can return Dragon Naturally Speaking within 30 days if it is not up to your expectations.

You can search on the google by "speech to text" then you can found many service.May be some of free or some are paid.i suggest you try to use a paid service.Because of paid service give you more accurate result.

I have used online Speech to text software. But it's a paid service. If you want, You can just simply go to speechtotextservice.com and upload the file and they do the rest.

I would suggest you to go this site https://speechtotextservice.com/ . As i also got my speech to text audio transcription service with their help. So ask about your service clearly and give your file. Then you will get that but i must say it would be worthy enough and will provide you a good quality audio.
