There must be a way to set a default bullet style, but I'll be buggered if I can find it. Not documented in any obvious place. When I click on the bullets-on/off toggle in the toolbar, what I get is a default rectangle. When I click on Format -> Numbering/Bullets, Options tab, and look at what should be showing, I am told I have selected the standard bullet character (which is what I want, after all). But until I actually do the manual selection again, and apply the change to all the levels, I don't get the bullets I want.
This seems very strange. |

I must confess that I am completely confused by the way OOo handles bulleting. I write many short docs and like to use the bullet style, but I am usually frustrated trying to work out how I can set a default bullet style as well. I have tried to access help FAQs, etc., but all to no avail. I am still confused. |
