|
|
| I have to create a column graph of the mean number of push ups done by males vs females, with a range bar of the highest and lowest number for each column, but I have no idea how to do it! I was given all the sets of data in a spreadsheet, without the mean. The question is, can I create a column graph of the data, and then put range bars in? Do I have to find the mean and graph that? HELP!!! |

Do you mean like in attached doc (Error Bars to show range.ods)?...

Error bars show range when calculated using AVERAGE, MIN and MAX functions.

Nice work but a really ugly dynamite chart.
@essenceofinsanity
A column (bar) chart with ranges is a really bad way to display the data that you have. You can use Ken's approach but change the chart type to xy-graph to get a much better graphic _________________ jrkrideau
