|
|
hello, i would just like to ask regarding adding a new language in open office writer. It has been stated that one can add a new language pack once it is available and your just going to download and extract it..
What if the language you want is not listed as available? Like the Cebuano Language?
please help me regarding this matter. thank you |

Someone will need to translate all the OpenOffice GUI's and dialogues into Cebuano.

I've just made the terrible discovery that OpenOffice isn't so much used on the Philippines! _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.6 on Fedora 18, LibreOffice 4.0.2 on Ubuntu 13.04 (Double Boot) |

| thanks for the reply.. i have read the link you've given.. so you mean, it would take a lot of time to translate the native language? couldn't we just edit the available languages and install it in the open office writer through extension manager? |
