Is there a library of formulas?

I'm using OpenOffice.org Writer to simply produce a text document. I need to write down a few formulas in the text. I know how to do this manually, that is: Insert>Object>Formula.

Okay, when I'm in ready to put in a formula I have an option of: Tools>Import Formula.....

My question is: Can I download a library of formulas that I can then import the ones I want into the body of my text document, so that I can save time typing them in manually? Thanks.

Okay. Really when I start messing with formulas, I open OpenOffice.org Math. Which is a formula editor. I think Math is just for creating formula objects, which you would insert into Writer. So, I should be posting in the Math forum.

I see that Math will open ODF Formula ( *.odf); OpenOffice.org 1.0 Formula (*.sxm) and MathML 1.01 (*.mml) files.

Pity that one cannot grab the objects off the internet.

Or Math came with a libray of objects.

You can also insert formulas using LaTeX with TexMaths or OOoLatex. The LaTeX editor Lyx can help with equations but there are, I believe, many other LaTeX applications, even some online.
