I have a database with a Calc spreadsheet as its source. All the data in the column is a NUMBER (i made sure of this by copying data as "VALUE(#)" and pasted as a number to the whole column.
In Base, I go to "edit" the table and this column continues to come up as a Text [VARCHAR] instead of a "DECIMAL" or the likes.
Any idea why this would be happening? |

Spreadsheets are the worst type of data source. Save the spreadsheet as dBase. _________________ Rest in peace, oooforum.org
