I have a doubt about getting data in MySQL from OOo... is it posible? I got the database loaded, with some empty talbes, and I want to get the data dumped in a gui rather than a command line. However, it seems OOo is not a gui for that, more like to add new tables or new columns but no actual data.

Am i wrong?
I got the root password and user with no problem... however....

The datasources viewer should work fine for data entry. There is an edit icon which can turnon/off the ability to enter data.
Forms tied to the data are usually more convenient, try file autopilot form
