[solved] restarting lists with different numbers

It looks like a pretty easy thing to do, but I didn't find out how.
I just have many lists, starting each one with a different number (these are parts of a more extnse number dialogue, which I have all numbered). For example
17.
18.
19.
etc

another list...
71.
72.
73.
etc

How can I quickly assign the starting number on each list?

Place your cursor in the first list item then click the Restart Numbering icon on the Bullets
and Numbering toolbar.

sorry if I didn't make myself clear. I do want each list to start with a different number (as in the examples I made on the post above).

If I click restart all list start with the same number, which I don't want.

Select your unnumbered list, right click > Numbering/Bullets > Options tab and set Start At to any number.

This is what I was doing. But when doing it ALL list restarted from the last number entered. I just discovered that I had a list style applied.
by removing the numbering and inserting it again, it works fine.
