I think I know the answer but I have to ask.
I got the following message when I tried to open a database file.
“The Connection To Data Source “CENTRAL_DIRECTORY” could not be established.
File I/o error C:\Documents and Settings\Fiskey Doodle\My Documents\
CENTRAL_DIRECTORY.odb.backup.io.IOEXCEPTION: O:/00030/ooo/ucp/File/
filstr.cxx: :287;
I just bet this error means I don't have a file and I don't have the OpenOffice back/up
I just bet I get to start over entering data for record # 1
So am I at GROUND ZERO or is there a way to save this file?
Steven

Hello
I hope you have a backup of your database. It is always a good habit to have a backup of an important file. You post makes me not clear if your file is lost but it is possible.
