The cell I have entered does everything, except when I input show comment, the arrows show in this way, one end pointing 8 cells away from the cell I have inputted the comment in & the other which is correct pointing to the comment box.
Not sure why this is happening any ideas please. 
I have just tried cell (A/1) everything is ok, but the further you go down say (A/1000), the further the arrow move away from the cell it's supposed to be with?. |

Hello,
I don't know if you were able to resolve your problem with comments but I would have a suggestion for you.
By resizing the height of all rows, your should be able to realign the comments with its cell. In my case, I had to double the rows height.

Excellent suggestion - I shall try but my OO files are at home.
Comments can be miles away from the originating cell (say, hundreds of rows away), so that even if you could afford the time to rectify, it is quite impossible sometimes.
