|
|
I was running OO3.3 and my thesaurus worked perfectly. After the upgrade to 3.4 the thesaurus doesn't work at all. All the boxes are checked under Tools:Options:Language:writing aids, but still, thesaurus is greyed out on the menu and cntrl F7 does nothing. I've reinstalled 3.4 multiple times with the same result.
Running Win 7 prof.
Is this a bug in OO 3.4, or something I'm doing/not doing. I'm technically challenged, so I need explicit instructions if I need to rename files etc.
Thanks for any help. I'm desperate.
Fred

I have the same problem. I depend on the thesaurus and I am now having to use an outside thesaurus. It's annoying. Suggestions anyone? |

The problem is that AOO 3.4 uses a different database format for the user profile, which is where the extensions are stored. Reset your user profile. Click here for help how to do that. After that you will have to install your extensions again.Don't forget that you will have to restart OOo before the extensions will work.
If your problem has been solved, please edit the first post in this thread and add [Solved] to the title bar. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista
