Has anyone succeeded in installing OOO in a Android tablet? I have an Acer Iconia running Android 3 and haven't been able to get it installed. Any advice would be wellcome

What it the file name that your trying to install? As for as I have seen there is not a version of OOo for the Android platform. It along with other mobile platforms have been ask for.

Don't ask me why but tried to instal the Linux version, just for trying. Didn't work DUH!!
Hope they bring out a Android version soon as I am testing the tablet for our Office enviroment.

You may want to have a look at LibreOffice, LibreOffice.org . They have some developers that are working on a port for Android. LibreOffice is a fork of OOo and works just about the same. There are some differences both good and bad. At this time OOo is going through a big change, you may have heard of the donation to the Apache Software Foundation. So OOo is stalled right now.
