Hi guys, im new round here, ive just started out on open office calc, im in need of making a deduction to a row of cells that have different amounts in each.....
e.g
16B - 48B all need deducting by £160, isit possible to do this or do i just have to do one at a time. This is a 3 times daily task and the amount to be dedcuted will vary each time..
Thanks in Advance

Use the "Subtract" operation on the "Paste Special" dialogue.
In a spare cell enter 160 then copy that cell.
Select B16:B48 then go Edit|Paste Special... (or Ctrl+Shift+V) to bring up the "Paste Special" dialogue.
Select the "Subtract" operation then click OK.
Be careful because the "Subtract" operation will be selected next time you use Paste Special and you could easily accidentally leave it selected when it perhaps shouldn't be.
