I regularly check the developer builds, and read the release notes for every release. When 1.9.69 was released, http://download.openoffice.org/680/index.html stated "release notes are not yet available". For every previous release, the release notes appeared at the same time as this page was upadted.
I have been regularly cehcking this page since this release, waiting for the release notes to appear. Now that the page has been updated for the release of 1.9.17.1, there is still no sign of the release notes for 1.9.69, and no release notes for 1.9.71.1 either!
What is going on here? Why have the release notes fallen two generations behing the releases, when they have always been up to date until now? When can we expect these two sets fo release notes to finally appear?
Anyone got any idea? |
