I am using WinXP and OO 1.1. If I start OO then go to File-Open, its works fine. But if I am looking at a folder and double click on a DOC file or a SXW file, the actual file comes up in Writer fine, but the file name is untitled and I have to "save as" a new file.

I searched through the forum for a while and found no answer. Any ideas?

Scotty

Haven't seen anything clearly explaining this and it is really aggravating. One of my documents was calling itself by a line that had been deleted from the doc. You might try going to File>Properties>Description and put in a name there to see if that helps.
