How to delete first word in a series of cells

Hi, I'd like to know how to delete the first word in a series of cells.

For example, I have a vertical vocabulary list, with thousands of words and definitions; I'm trying to remove the word and only keep the definition.

E.g: I want:

vociferous adj. Making a loud outcry.
vogue n. The prevalent way or fashion.
volant adj. Flying or able to fly.

to become:
adj. Making a loud outcry.
n. The prevalent way or fashion.
adj. Flying or able to fly.

Select the Column and goto →Tools→Search and replace:

Search for:
^[^ ]+ (.*)$
replace with:
$1
with Options:
[x] Selection only
[x] regular Expression
→replace all
