Hi,

I am very new to OoBase but have used MC Access very sparingly in the past.
I have created a Form (and subform) to input data and all of the required fields are visible. BUT I would like to change the titles on the field names from the abbreviated field names in the tables on the form to a more understandable plain english title.
e.g. field name is "empnam" and this field exists on the form but I would like to change the field title from :empnam" to "Employee Name".

Can someone please explain how I do this.

Thanks in advance.

Hello

Bring your form in edit mode
Activate the form navigator
Select the label field and edit the label

In this two sub forums for Base one for Tutorials and one for examples you can find a lot of information

More to read
I think a good starting point can maybe this [Tutorial] Forms in OpenOffice.org Base. You can find there also links to other tutorials. Not all tutorials are even important for you.

Many Thanks for the reply.
I managed to remedy the issue myself after some investigation and trial.
In the end the solution was simple and simply required my ability to "see" properly.
The tutorials will prove invaluable.
Cheers and Thanks.
