Cant See Icons After Install

Hi,

I have just installed OO from the downloaded files, OOo_1.1.4_LinuxIntel_install.tar.gz ,

all installed ok, i did a ./setup -net from the unpacked dir in an x-windows box ...

I am running fedora 3 and using the gnome that comes with this instal.

I cannot see any icons in the "Applications" drop down list in gnome.

How can i create these, or where can i find them ??

I have installed it as both the user, and as root. Both giving me the same problem
