Hi,
I've found a problem with the installation of OpenOffice 1.1.2 under Windows (XP and 2000 - not tested with other versions).
Into the setup.inf and the setup.log, it is writed that the "App Paths" key for soffice.exe should be writed under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE hive. But, after installation, these keys are founded under HKEY_CURRENT_USERS hive.
I speak about the "App Paths" key because I need it (to start OpenOffice by batch command like "start soffice -writer") but it is the same thing for all other OpenOffice keys.
If I move this "App Paths" key manualy to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, the problem is solved.
As, it seem that it is a problem in the installation procedure.
I try to install as an administrator or as a user (with local administrator right). Same problem.
I have many PC to install and I would like to know if somebody know how to correct the installation procedure ?
Into the setup.inf, it use the "PREDEFINED_HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" but I don't find any definition for this "PREDEFINED_HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE".
Thanks
