| So I live in a three level town house. We have our modem/router thing from Verizon on the third floor. The PS3 in the basement sometimes lags according to my brother. Which is a better solution: moving the router to the middle floor and getting wireless adapters for both my computers upstairs or getting a signal booster? Don't want to do both because of hassle/cost. My bro is being a dick and wants to move the router because he doesn't understand computers at all and he thinks it is more fair for it to be in a shared space. Keep in mind that the router is literally directly above his PS3 right now. It's just the interference from the floors making the signal weak. I'm not entirely convinced the signal is the problem. I think he gets lag because Verizon fios isn't the fastest ever. |

This forum isn't about router efficiency but OpenOffice.org.
