I'd like to create a "quotation" paragraph style that, among other things, actually puts a quotation mark before and after the text. Is that possible?
I know a list style allows me to customize the bullet or numbering to contain whatever string I want, but that doesn't get me a closing quote mark, and it also wouldn't allow the quote itself to be in a list because the quote mark would have to be before the list's built-in tab stop... |

I cannot think of any obvious way. I was under the impression that many style manuals (APA, Chicago and MLA for example) don't want them. _________________ jrkrideau

Hi,
You can't use strings in front of a page style.
But you can use a workaround by using a Numbering Style
In the Numbering field select None and in the Before field enter the string you need and probably update the positions _________________ If your problem has been solved please add "[Solved]" to the beginning of your first post title (edit button). |

And supposing the quote was more than one paragraph? _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.6 on Fedora 18, LibreOffice 4.0.2 on Ubuntu 13.04 (Double Boot) |
