I recently updated to OpenOffice 3 (not sure of the exact release) and I have a question:
When I hit the Tab key on my keyboard, the cursor jumps 1/2" according to the ruler bar. How do I set this spacing to be smaller, or larger? _________________ Never let a computer know you're in a hurry. |

dluns2003 has supplied a link to your exact question but in the larger context the answer is "You never use a tab in OOo Writer."
Seriously you should be able to do all the formatting you need with styles and tables. _________________ jrkrideau
