Hi everybody
My group and I are writing a white paper to help somebody make an users guide for all of Open Offices programs. I was wondering what your opionons are since you are the ones who actually use the program. We have sent out surveys, but most of the people havent ever heard about Open Office. If you have any problems with Open Office you can reply here and we will post them in our white paper, also if any suggestions at all about what kind of info we should put in there let me know.
thank you

There are some starts to various user manuals. Some are more complete than others, but none are comprehensive. Before starting from scratch, you might find it useful to tap into some of these and add/complete. Try a google search - they seem to pop up all over!
A good user manual written for non-computer types (ie most users) and readily accessable say from the main site and linked from the forum site would make it easier to find.
This forum is also an excellent resource and has been a major reason why I have stuck with OOo and explored new areas of use. |

| I bought OOoSwitch:501Things You Wanted To Know About Switching to OpenOffice.org from Microsoft Office (long title, great book). It has helped me immensely and I recommend it to anyone who is writing an OOo Users' Manual as a background reference. |
