Converting Applix Macro's (Writer) to OOo Writer

I need to attempt to convert Applix Macro's over to OOo Macro's and wondered if anyone has any experience or can help point me in the right direction of learning about applix. (I know its not an Applix forum). There seems to be a lot of "generated" code in the macros (thats what I believe it is anyhow) and I need to learn what it all means.

I also wanted to thank A. Pitonyak for his awesome .pdf file and the book (which is on order) if the book is half as good as the .pdf I know I'll be more than pleased.
