The locale settings for South Africa is incorrect.
A comma is used as a decimal separator instead of a point. I have registered it as an issue, but I do not notice any response.
I try to sell OpenOffice as an alternative to MSOffice and WordPerfect, but then I have issues like this.
Why can I not change it myself? I cannot wait for the next release to have this ficed. |

my locale setting is germany (ie comma decimal separator) but I also £ with commas.
It is therefore logical that you cou chose a locale setting with dot decimal separators and then find the Rand symbol in Format / number/ currency
if its not there tinker a bit in Format/ number/user defined _________________ carl
