Hi,

I need to do some presentation that I will show on another computer with OpenOffice.org. What I would like to know is how do I embed or save the fonts I use into the presentation file so that the presentation will display correctly on the other computer.

Thanks in advance for help!

I doubt you can embed fonts in an OpenOffice.org document. However, PDF allows for embedded fonts. I would try exporting to PDF using the Press setting.

You can turn Acrobat Reader into a slide show presentation program by loading it into full screen mode. Of couse, you won't see slide transitions.

If you also need this feature please vote for this issue and add comments.

If you want to do this stuff programmatically, then strongly consider the Reportlab Toolkit library for the Python programming language. A wrapper has been written for OO called "PyOOo" or something like that. It's basically what aziem said, you export it to a pdf file using your own font (embedded into the pdf document).

You can also export a presentation to Macromedia Flash format. This may embed the font.

Then you can view it on any web browser.
