I am currently running OOo 1.9.65 on SUSE 9.2 and I am having a hard time setting up margins.
I have a header at the Top which is to be .5" from the top of the page down with my Last name and page number.
Now I got that much I think but I am unable to get my text to be 1" from the top of the page down which is .5" below my Lastname and page #

| At Format > Page > Header tab there is an adjustment for the distance between the Header and normal text. |
