Hi,
is there any possibilety to put spezial letters on a shortkey? A friend must write an french exam with a german keyboard. For example Ð = Contr+D.....

PS: in MSword you have the Following possibiletys
- Record an Macro and put it on a shortkey
- place the letter directly on a shortkey |

| I am using the autotext function for this purpose. That way, you type a short mnemonic, followed by the F3 key, which substitutes by the character you want. This mnemonic can be one letter, so for example you could define d<F3> to be your special d character. |

well Marco, also here you can make a macro and place it under a shortkey.
macro-recording is supported from version 643c thats the dev. release after 1.02 _________________ If you jump to the otherside of the galaxy,

This is only possible when you want to wire dfsé the it isn't possible to press dfse<F3> there must be a space before the autotext mnemonic.

You are absolutely right. I overlooked this . However, Autotext also works with selected text: you should therefore first press Shift + left arrow to select the d and then F3 will evaluate the selection and produce the desired character. |
