| I'm using a spreadsheet table as my data source and I'm sure I'm following all the instructions. However, when I try to merge with a form letter I dont get all the records to merge. Out of a list of say eleven records I might only get two or three to print, the rest are simply ignored. Is there anyone out there who's had the same problem and solved it? |

In OOo 1.1.x there is a known limitation (or two) working with spreadsheets as your data source. The most irritating was that you could only really "use" it once, and then if you made any changes you had to reboot your computer before you could use the new data. You may be having this problem.
I personally liked using the spreadsheet to set up my tables but then save to DBF format (which is a very common, low-level database format). Then use the DBF as your data source. You can update it, add and remove data from it, etc. with no hassles. _________________ Don "Freiheit" Eitner |
