| have been e mailed a wps file and need to open it have searched the web but can not find a way to open it on win98 can oo open it and if so how as i have tried but none of the converters seem to work |

Ii have 1.9.109 and I get a I/O error. I am using win98 also and have been emailed a wps file. Anything else?

Email the person who emailed it to you and ask them to send it to you in a non-propreitary standard format. If they don't understand, just ask for an RTF. _________________ Arch Linux

There are converters available that will convert works to word, at which point you can then use OOo. Theses are available from the MS Website.

A works import feature would be nice but I have seen no projects aiming at it... so, go for Ian's advice.
I don't know if StarOffice can import files from Works? |
