|
|
Hi,
I am about to write a large document and having some problem with numbering and the Table of Contents..
I want the following :
CHAPTER <NO>
<NO.1>Level 1 title
<NO.1.2> Level 2 title
etc.
When I mark a line and select INsert->Indexes->Entry I cannot select any numbers from a numbering list. This means I get no numbers in front of my references in the index.
Also, how can I get the number AFTER the Chapter? 1. Chapter 1 is not what I want.
In Word I used to insert a number and select it to be in the TOC, something like
<index level selection><number item><text></index level selection>
So the block to be used for the index included a numbered item. In OO I cannot select the numbered item ?
Thanks for any help! |

Yes. It turned out to be my friend!
I was so focused on getting a number BEHIND a text I totally forgot that the text before is static. Thanx! |
