Help to compile the code in VC++

Hello Everyone ,
Can anyone suggest me step by step way to compile my application using openOffice sdk in VC++ . Its giving error even I included the Com folder inside the workspace path.Does anyone Know a way to use the c++ application (step by step Implementation) . And also How can i make use of the Makefile After creating the dsw file from it and then I compiled its showing

Makefile(6) : fatal error U1052: file '$(SETTINGS)/settings.mk' not found
So anyone Knows About this thing Can you people Reply back With a solution

You have to use two scripts as described briefly in my document : one ids for configuration and the second every time you use a makefile in a dos box.
Sorry I can not help more : every time I try to do it, it fails. This part in my document has not been written by me.
